Socha Companies Recognized for Excellence in Construction and Interior Design with Two Cornerstone Awards from NH Home Builders Association
Manchester, NH – Socha Companies was recognized for excellence at the 2024 Cornerstone Awards Gala, receiving awards for two major construction projects completed this past year: Interior Design (Single Room) category and Bath ($25-000-$50,000) category. Presented by the New Hampshire Home Builders Association, the Cornerstone Awards recognize excellence in the building industry, celebrating the finest achievements in residential construction markets. Of the 29 award winners, Socha Companies is one of only four companies who were recognized with two 2024 Cornerstone Awards.
For the Interior Design (Single Room) category, Socha Companies was recognized for their state-of-the-art conference room, which is a key focal point of its new commercial office building at 150 Kodiak Way in Manchester, New Hampshire. This prestigious acknowledgement was the result of over a year of meticulously coordinated interior design efforts that brought together striking works of art, an industrial chandelier statement piece, and custom hand-built furniture including a 10-foot wood conference table. The conference room space is just one exceptional element of the 2,800-square-foot building that was designed to inspire innovation and collaboration for top developers, vendors and high-profile banking meetings.
The second recognition in the Bath ($25,000-$50,000) category was awarded for the high-end yet practical design of the master en-suite bathroom in a new construction project located in northern New Hampshire. Though modest in size, the en-suite bathroom’s thoughtful layout maximizes its stunning natural surroundings, offering a serene retreat that blends rustic charm with modern elegance. Featuring a stunning soaking tub, bold tiled shower design and a custom rustic vanity, the space marries contemporary design elements with functionality.

Criteria for the Cornerstone Awards included projects completed between October 2023 and October 2024, built in New Hampshire, and not previously submitted for consideration. Submissions were judged based on appearance, craftsmanship, difficulty, value for price, originality, and creativity. An anonymous board of judges evaluated the submissions, ensuring fairness and impartiality in the selection process. Socha Companies has previously been honored for construction and design of The Timbers residential townhome community, winning the 2023 Cornerstone Award for Best Multifamily Construction Market Rate.
